Reclaiming fence lines and beautifying property on Mondrian Circle
We love a good challenge at Cox Arboriculture Services, and our recent job in Winter Park certainly provided one! On Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, we were called to a beautiful property on Mondrian Circle to tackle an unruly bamboo situation.
A 2.5-hour bamboo taming project that reclaimed fence lines and beautified a Winter Park property, overcoming several unique challenges along the way.
Bamboo, while undeniably beautiful and fast-growing, can quickly become a homeowner's nightmare if not properly managed. In this case, the bamboo had encroached on the fence line and desperately needed a cutback. Our task for the day was threefold: cut back the bamboo to 1-1/2 feet away from the fence line, rake out the beds, and clean and haul away all debris.
This job presented several unique challenges. First, we had to carefully maneuver powerful saws in tight spaces without damaging the fence. Second, we needed to keep a close eye on the windows of the nearby building to avoid any accidents. Finally, we discovered the bamboo had been leaving a colorful residue on the building walls, requiring extra care during cleanup to avoid making the situation worse.
Despite these challenges, our experienced team completed the job in just 2.5 hours! We worked efficiently and effectively, utilizing our skills and experience to overcome all obstacles. By the time we finished, the bamboo was neatly cut back, the beds were raked clean, and all debris was hauled away, leaving the property looking fantastic.
